Shane Jones (Cincinnati/Moeller) saw a run of new offers come in early in March, but his recruitment has slowed down somewhat since then. However, Jones has added three more offers over the last few weeks.
Penn State, Purdue and, most recently, Texas A&M have extended offers to the 6-foot-1, 220-pound linebacker.
Jones first heard from the new Penn State staff during the winter when assistant coach John Butler visited Moeller. The two did not talk during that visit because of NCAA rules, but Jones spoke with Butler at a later time on the phone.
