Notre Dame received a pair of verbal commitments Saturday during its Junior Day, landing pledges from offensive linemen Colin McGovern and Hunter Bivin, according to multiple reports.
Both recruits posted about their commitments on social media websites late Saturday.
Both are tackles. McGovern (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way West) is 6-foot-6, 270 pounds; Bivin (Owensboro, Ky./Apollo), 6-6, 290, is on the ESPNU 150 Watch List.
The Irish now have five verbal commitments from the class of 2013, with four coming this month. ESPNU 150 Watch List tight end Jacob Matuska (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Hartley) committed March 7, and athlete James Onwualu (Saint Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham) committed one week later.
ESPNU 150 Watch List offensive tackle Steve Elmer (Midland, Mich./Midland) was the Irish's first commitment from the 2013 class, back in September.

The Midwest Region consists of the states of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin and is where the foundation of most Big Ten recruiting classes are made up of. It's also where the MAC finds most of its talent and national programs hunt for prospects.
