Inside linebacker Tim Kimbrough Jr. (Indianapolis/Warren Central) said Monday he likes the idea of playing in the SEC. On Tuesday, SEC member Vanderbilt came calling with a scholarship.
"The SEC, I know they got the best conference," Kimbrough said Monday. "That's a good conference to play in."
The 6-foot, 220-pound bruising linebacker also has offers from SEC schools Florida, Kentucky and Mississippi State.
Kimbrough will visit Kentucky and Louisville this weekend and then will head to Arkansas the first weekend in March.
