At his Class of 2012 signing day press conference, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said the staff was already “knee deep” in the 2013 class. If Ohio State is only “knee deep” in the junior class, then the rest of the Big Ten could be in trouble.
On Monday, ESPNU Watch List lineman Billy Price (Youngstown, Ohio/Austintown-Fitch) committed to Ohio State, giving the Buckeyes three early 2013 commitments. The four-star prospect, who will play defensive tackle at Ohio State, joins four-star safety Cam Burrows and four-star athlete Jalin Marshall in the 2013 class. All three were named among ESPN's top 100 juniors.
“I was extremely confident with the Ohio State staff, and they’re extremely family oriented,” Price said. “It was key for me in my college decision. I felt it was time to make a decision and go forth and commit.”
