Colin McGovern picks up Hawkeyes offer

Junior offensive lineman Colin McGovern (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way West) earned another offer on Wednesday when Iowa offered.
McGovern told ESPN.com in a text message Wednesday night that he earned his eighth offer of the recruiting process, this one from the nearby Hawkeyes.
The 6-foot-7, 270-pound tackle now has offers from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Northwestern, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
McGovern will be busy over the next few months with a series of visits lined up. He will visit Wisconsin for its junior day (Feb. 18), possibly Iowa (Feb. 24), Tennessee (Mar. 3), Michigan (Mar. 10), Notre Dame (Mar. 24) and Northwestern (Apr. 7).
