Since decommitting from Michigan in early December, three-star cornerback Anthony Standifer (Crete, Ill./Crete-Monee) has not had a leader.
That changed this weekend when he visited Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish are far and away the top option for Standifer, and he nearly committed.
Standifer said he still has to be approved by admissions because he needs to take one more Spanish class by June 30. He said he will take an online course as soon as possible.
