Four-star receiver Andre McDonald (Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins), a recent Vanderbilt decommitment, has a top three and one more official visit.
Minnesota, UCLA and Vanderbilt are the finalists for McDonald, ranked No. 2 in the state of Minnesota and the country's 33rd-best receiver.
Less than two weeks ago, McDonald decommitted from Vanderbilt after the Commodores’ receivers coach, Chris Beatty, left for Illinois. McDonald committed to Vanderbilt after decommitting from Minnesota during the summer.
The Golden Gophers received an official visit this past weekend, and on Friday McDonald will officially visit UCLA.
“Seeing how much the coaches value relationships with their players and what the atmosphere on campus is like,” McDonald said was what he is looking forward to most on his UCLA trip.
McDonald officially visited Vanderbilt in September.
