Miami (Ohio) moved to the top of Cincinnati Elder defensive end's A.J. Burdine list following his weekend official visit, but he wanted to wait until one more official visit before making a decision.
Two days after coming back from his Miami visit and still having the same feeling about the RedHawks, though, made Burdine change his mind.
"I felt I didn't need to take anymore," Burdine said. "I felt confident I made the right choice and I took a few days to think and I still felt the same."
In an interview Sunday, Burdine raved about his Miami visit.
“I said ‘Honestly, Coach Treadwell, I didn’t think it’d be anything like this, but the visit went great,’ ” Burdine said Sunday. “I’ve been to Wisconsin and I’m sure they would have been nice with an official visit, but I really liked Miami.”
Burdine had a visit to Ohio scheduled for this weekend.
Miami now has 17 commitments in its 2013 class.
