Coming into the 2012 season, Cameron Polk (Fishers, Ind./Southeastern Hamilton) was a name few people knew. The talent was there, but the film was not. Polk missed the majority of his first two seasons because of injury.
Polk’s junior season was injury free, however, and the interest is coming in from all over the region. With the stress fracture issue in his back resolved, Polk finished the season with more than 700 yards on 31 catches.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound receiver even broke a few school records. He scored a 97-yard touchdown, and in that same game set a record for least amount of catches (six) to register 200 receiving yards.
