Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic offensive tackle Quenton Nelson is on his way to collecting just about every Big Ten offer possible. After another Monday, he is almost halfway there.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Class of 2014 tackle gave Northwestern assistant coach Bob Heffner a call Monday, and Heffner promptly extended an offer.
"I know the football program is doing pretty well (7-2 on the season) and the academics are fabulous," said Nelson, who places a priority on education. "They're building this new facility and it's going to be sick -- I looked it up on the computer."
