Three-star Pickerington (Ohio) Central defensive tackle Adam Cole has a leader, and now it’s just a matter of raising his grades to receive an offer.
Cole, ranked 57th in the state of Ohio, lists Kent State as his top school with Ohio and a number of other MAC and Division II schools in the picture.
“I’m really interested in Kent State. That’s just the school I’ve always wanted to go to,” Cole said. “I like their program. I like the people down there.”
Cole said he knows a few of the Kent State coaches as some of them used to train him when he was younger.
Right now, grades are the only thing holding Cole back from possibly earning a scholarship offer from Kent State or another Division I program.
“Just about getting my grades and my ACT score up,” Cole said.
Asked how he has been doing in the classroom through the school year’s first few months, Cole said “pretty good.”
