At Cleveland (Ohio) St. Ignatius, players often have to wait until their junior seasons before seeing any significant time on the field. For many, the wait is even longer, extending to his senior season.
Senior quarterback Mike LaManna is one of those players. It’s not a knock on LaManna or any other Ignatius player in his shoes but more a compliment on the state of the Ignatius program.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback has been one of the most efficient passers in Ohio this season and if he finishes off the year as strong as he’s started, it could end with an FBS scholarship.
