CARMEL, Ind. -- Six games into his first season at Carmel (Ind.), Austin Roberts admits the players in Indiana are not as fleet-footed as they are in Florida. But Indiana makes up for it in other aspects.
“Obviously it’s not as fast as Florida, but it’s just as competitive,” the 2014 receiver said. “Making up for the speed, the guys are bigger (in Indiana) so when they do catch you it’s not a great feeling.”
The 6-foot-2, 206-pound Roberts moved to the Indianapolis suburb in June when his father took a job with the Indianapolis Colts as the tight ends coach. Roberts was previously at Tampa Plant.
