DETROIT – With Collin Buchanon’s 6-foot-5, 305-pound size, he immediately catches the attention of college coaches. This summer, that attention turned to offers for Buchanon.
Buchanon picked up his first two offers this past June. Akron came with an offer first, and Western Michigan followed not long after when it saw him at Michigan State’s camp.
“Akron is a little bit interesting because they have a new coach in Terry Bowden. He’s a really good coach. He’s the son of Bobby Bowden, so he’s a legacy,” Buchanon said. “Western Michigan has always been a good choice for me.”
