Toledo did not need to see much senior film before offering Jason Tretter (Richfield, Ohio/Revere).
The 6-foot-7, 310-pound senior missed his entire junior season when he tore several ligaments in his left knee. That injury came after a very strong sophomore season.
Revere opened its season this past weekend, and Tretter's performance confirmed to the Toledo staff he is healthy again. The Rockets offered Monday evening.
He feels Pittsburgh and West Virginia could offer soon, too. The Panthers and Mountaineers are his favorites pending an offer.
"I've sent them two scrimmages and my first game film and they said they'd watch it sometime this week," he wrote in a text message.
Tretter will unofficially visit Pitt this coming Saturday for the Panthers' opener against Youngstown State.
Kent State offered Tretter in June, just days after he was medically cleared for all football activities.
