Four-star Igwebuike pledges to Northwestern

The most profound recruiting visits are the ones that still leave a mark a few months after taking place instead of just a few days.
The shine never wore off for Godwin Igwebuike (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) when hE visited Northwestern in the spring. On Thursday, the four-star athlete committed to the Wildcats.
“It’s the best fit for me. They have everything I wanted academically and as a program,” the 5-foot-11, 190-pound senior said. “I always wanted to play in the Big Ten, loved the campus and players and had a nice connection with the coaches. And they fit my morals and values.”
