With seven offers and interest from the Big Ten, Chicago Simeon safety Aaron Banks has a top five.
“Northern Illinois, Bowling Green, Ball State, Minnesota, Illinois,” Banks said, stressing there is no order to those teams.
Ball State, Bowling Green and Northern Illinois have offered Banks along with Illinois State, Miami (Ohio), North Dakota State and Western Michigan. Illinois and Minnesota – specifically the Gophers – are interested in the 6-foot-3, 200-pound defensive back.
