Paul Chryst landed his first quarterback at Pittsburgh.
Chryst, the former Wisconsin offensive coordinator who helped mold Russell Wilson into a Heisman finalist, picked up a commitment from three-star dual-threat quarterback Tra'Von Chapman (Kent, Ohio/Roosevelt) on Thursday.
"Pitt is a unique place and the coaches are a class act," Chapman wrote in a text message. "I trust these guys to make the most not only to make me a better athlete, but a better man."
