Archbishop Alter (Kettering, Ohio) junior center Cody Collins has picked up his first two offers over the last few days.
Bowling Green became the first program to offer Collins, who was on the Falcons’ campus on Saturday.
“They had just come to the school and said come to the junior day,” Collins said. “… They said they like how I come off the ball and stay low with leverage and everything.”
Collins is friends with Toledo Class of 2012 signee Raymond Marlow, who told him a little about the Rockets’ program.
“They said I’m the best center in this class, so they offered me,” he said. “… They just said pretty much I was just a beast. Everything I have is what they’re looking.”
Collins said that Akron and Ohio are both on the verge of offering, too. He will visit Kentucky this weekend and Michigan State in two weeks.
