Four-star receiver Andre McDonald (Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins) was planning a signing day announcement, but he decided to end the drama early and made his choice Thursday evening.
McDonald committed to Minnesota on an announcement on a local Minnesota station. It is the second time he has committed to the Golden Gophers.
“It’s kind of funny but whenever my mom went to do her own thing and didn’t listen to him he would say to me ‘A lost dog always finds its way back home,’ and I think that just really sums up my entire recruiting process,” McDonald wrote in a text message.
