Three-star Middletown (Ohio) cornerback Cody Quinn has decommitted from Illinois and will be taking at least three visits in January.
“I decommitted from Illinois because of the coaching change,” said Quinn said, regarding Illinois firing Ron Zook in November and hiring Tim Beckman in early December. “I wanted to decommit and take a look at some other schools that were still pursuing me.”
Quinn said his relationships with the previous coaching staff at Illinois was what sold him on the program when he committed back in June.
