Baylor lands third 2014 commit with WR
By Sam Khan Jr.
Baylor's first junior day of the year has yielded the Bears a jump start on the 2014 class. That momentum continued on Sunday when they scored their third commitment of the weekend.
The Bears added Willis (Texas) High School receiver Chris Platt to the fold on Sunday, his high school coach Audie Jackson confirmed. Platt (5-foot-11, 175 pounds) also had an offer from Texas Tech.
Platt was one of the Bears' junior day attendees on Saturday. He is known for his speed, which has also been displayed on the track. He is the reigning back-to-back Texas Class 4A state champion in the 400-meter dash. He won the 2012 title with a time of 47.06 seconds.
