Illini after Kansas juco commit Johnson

Less than a week after committing to Kansas, Isaiah Johnson (Cary, N.C./Iowa Western C.C.) will have to make another decision.

Illinois offered Johnson on Monday, and the 6-foot, 210-pound safety is considering the offer. He remains committed to Kansas, however.

"Illinois offered and wants me to come up to a visit soon," Johnson wrote in a text message.

Johnson is not a mid-year enrollee, so he has a few months to make a final decision.
