UA Game jersey tour: Jamal Adams

Safety Jamal Adams (Lewisville, Texas/Hebron) was presented his honorary 2014 Under Armour All-America High School Football game jersey Sept. 30. The event held at Hebron High in Lewisville was part of the three-month American Family Insurance Selection Tour.
Jamal Adams is the No. 25 ranked prospect in the ESPN 300.
Adams, the No. 25 ranked played in the country, is one of 90 players who have been selected to compete in the seventh-annual Under Armour All-America Game, which will be nationally televised at 4 p.m. ET on Jan. 2 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. on ESPN.
"First off, I want to thank God and my family because without them I wouldn't be here right now," said Adams. "Second, I would like to thank the coaching staff (at Hebron High). You guys are wonderful to me. I really do appreciate each and every one of you. Third, I would like to thank my teammates. Really, I just want to thank everyone from my high school … my teachers that have taught me everything. I'm really honored and blessed to receive this honor, and I'm really just ready to get out there and compete with those top guys. I just hope that you guys support me through everything, and I appreciate everything you did for me,"
Hebron head coach Brian Brazil echoed his star players thoughts on the honor.
"I would like to congratulate Jamal, and the entire football team," said Brazil. "Anytime you get an award like this, it's great for the whole program. We want to thank everybody at Hebron for supporting Jamal and the football team."
For Adams, playing in the Under Armour All-America Game was a decision based on playing against the best competition.
"I have a lot of friends playing in this game. I'm trying to play against the best of the be sty, and really that's why I picked this game. I want tp play against the best wide receivers," Adams said.
The 6-foot-0, 204-pound Adams is the No. 25 ranked prospect in the ESPN 300, and the No. 3 safety. He is considering Texas A&M, Florida, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Texas.
