Hours before national signing day, Baylor fans will rest easily knowing they are now two defensive linemen stronger than they were Monday.
Tuesday afternoon, ESPN 300 defensive tackle Andrew Billings (Waco, Texas/Waco) verbally committed to the Bears. Later in the evening, junior college defensive tackle Terrell Brooks (Corsicana, Texas/Navarro College) decided to recommit to Baylor. Brooks, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound tackle, is commitment No. 25 for the Bears.
“I really liked the family aspect of it, the family atmosphere,” said Brooks, who recently got married. “It’s something you don’t get in too many places. The whole feel made me feel good about it all.”
