SAN ANTONIO -- Watching the old videos of the Miami Hurricanes -- the dominant football teams of the past -- made ESPN 150 defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad (Ramsey, N.J./Don Bosco) wonder if the program can relive those days. That’s his mission for the next four years.
Muhammad verbally committed to Miami during Saturday’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl, choosing the Hurricanes over Notre Dame, Rutgers and Alabama. The nation’s No. 8 defensive end said he’s ready to bring that fire and passion of the old Hurricanes teams back to the program.
