After winning a Kansas Class 5A state title and steamrolling through a 2012 season, dual-threat quarterback Zeke Palmer (Wichita, Kan./Bishop Carroll) is now looking to find a home at the next level.
Kansas State is one of the schools eyeing the 6-foot-1, 210-pound quarterback, who led Bishop Carroll to a 13-0 record and a relative cakewalk through the season. Bishop Carroll’s closest game of the year was a 45-21 state-semifinal win against Salina (Kan.) South.
Palmer said his talks with Kansas State haven’t been overly serious, but he has been in touch with defensive line coach Joe Bob Clements, who recruits his area. Palmer took an unofficial visit at the end of last month, and he caught the Wildcats’ Dec. 1 win against Texas.
