Kansas State was hot Thursday morning, picking up stud Iowa Western Community College recruits in quarterback Jake Waters and defensive end Devon Nash. The Wildcats hit the trifecta in a big way Thursday evening when it landed its first four-star high school commit.
Linebacker Nick Ramirez (Lee’s Summit, Mo./Lee’s Summit West) verbally committed to Kansas State and became the Wildcats’ 14th commitment of the 2013 class. Ramirez, the No. 6 player in the state of Missouri, chose Kansas State over Missouri. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound athlete was committed to Missouri in April but decommitted last month to weigh additional options.
