Oklahoma was the first to notice Class of 2014 running back Xavier Turner (North Richland Hills, Texas/Birdville). But after the junior season he just had, it won’t take long before a bevy of other schools enter the race.
Turner was an unknown when he visited OU for its spring game in April but people are going to know his name now.
He had 207 carries for 1,586 yards and 31 touchdowns despite missing time with a high ankle sprain early in the season. He also had 22 receptions for 358 yards and four more scores.
