Arizona Western College (Yuma, Ariz.) defensive end Sam Wren has pledged to sign with the Cowboys, according to multiple reports. He was in Stillwater, Okla. this weekend for an official visit.
The 6-foot-3, 255-pound Wren officially visited Texas State on Oct. 12 and has another visit scheduled with Washington State next weekend.
Arkansas, Arkansas State, Houston, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis, Nevada, New Mexico State, Oregon State, Toledo, Utah State and Western Kentucky also offered the Palestine, Texas, native.
Wren is the 22nd verbal for Oklahoma State in 2013. The Cowboys boast the nation's No. 24-rated class.
