The UTSA Roadrunners picked up commitment No. 10 Monday. The first nine came from the Texas-Louisiana area.
No. 10 comes all the way from the West Coast in junior college linebacker Jens Jeters (Woodland Hills, Calif./Pierce College). A 6-foot-2, 245-pound inside linebacker, Jeters chose UTSA over interest from New Mexico and Bowling Green.
Jeters visited San Antonio over the weekend, and he said the trip blew him away. He’s a fan of head coach Larry Coker and his recruiting contact, defensive linemen coach Eric Roark, and he’s bought into the growing system at UTSA.
