Thursday afternoon will mark the first time 2014 quarterback Colby Moore (Argyle, Texas/Liberty Christian) works out with a brand new team -- and in a brand new offense.
Moore, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound quarterback, moved to Liberty Christian from Springtown, Texas, where he was a first-team, all-district selection. Moore threw for 1,425 yards and 18 touchdowns and also rushed for 476 yards and six touchdowns as a junior. He also is beginning to attract FBS scouts.
Moore, who operated in the spread offense at Springtown, now will adjust to a pro-style setup at Liberty Christian. It’s a challenge he’s looking forward to, primarily with the offseason upon him.
