2014 safety Brandon Simmons (Arlington, Texas/Mansfield Timberview) has more than 30 offers for a reason. The ESPN Watch List athlete is considered one of the elite defensive backs of his class, and ultimately, he will have his pick of where he attends college.
On Wednesday, Simmons picked up his latest offer from Washington. While the 6-foot, 180-pound safety admitted to having minimal knowledge on the program, he said he’s willing to learn more with the help of a trip to Seattle.
“I don’t really know too much, but that’s why I’m looking forward to flying out there for either their junior day or their spring game,” Simmons said. “I was impressed by their win over Stanford.”
