Kameron Miles (Mesquite, Texas/West Mesquite) called Texas A&M a “2-for-1 special.”
The ESPN 300 safety confirmed early Wednesday evening -- hours after decommitting from Tennessee -- that he is taking his talents to College Station, Texas, and will play for the Aggies. Miles, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound safety, said the opportunity to play for a rising SEC program that was a short drive from home -- versus a plane ride away -- proved to be too difficult to pass up.
“No. 1, it’s in the SEC,” said Miles of Texas A&M, fresh off a stellar win against previous No. 1 Alabama. “No. 2, it’s in Texas, so I won’t have to go anywhere. The program is going in the right direction with a new coach.”
