New Mexico has once again added Texas high school football athletes.
Rising athlete Trevon Roy (Dallas/Pinkston) verbally committed to New Mexico early Tuesday evening and became the third Texan to commit to the Lobos. New Mexico has five commits total.
“I feel good. I’m overwhelmed,” said Roy, a 6-foot-2, 208-pound athlete with 4.58-second speed in the 40-yard dash. “This is everything I’ve worked for. All the hard work, tears and frustration is paying off.”
