Darion Flowers (Tyler, Texas/John Tyler) is the classic do-it-all athlete. When he’s not making moves on defensive backs as a receiver, he’s shutting down those receiver moves as a cornerback.
At 6-foot and 180 pounds, Flowers is one of John Tyler’s most versatile players. He was a 1,000-yard receiver as a junior, but he’s been equally important for the offense and defense his senior season. Flowers recently picked up his first offer from Houston Baptist, and he is hoping his success on both sides of the ball will transition into multiple offers.
“So far, it’s been really tough,” Flowers said of the recruiting process. “I caught a break with this offer from HBU, but this is not it. I’ve got to keep working hard to where I can get some more interest.”
