Through nine games, Class of 2013 running back Teriyon Gipson (Dallas/Kimball) has rushed for 1,454 yards and 17 touchdowns. He averages 9.5 yards per carry.
Gipson’s playmaking ability is evident when he steps on the field. For whatever reason, though, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound senior was playing each game searching for his first offer. Tuesday night, Gipson earned not one but two offers, as Colorado State and New Mexico both extended scholarships.
“Man,” a very happy Gipson said. “It feels good. I can just relax now and not worry about it anymore. It was hard seeing everyone else get offers, but I finally got two.”
