2014 running back Brock Broughton (Kearney, Mo.) finished the 2012 season with 1,595 rushing yards, 216 receiving yards and 25 total touchdowns. He scored 20 touchdowns on the ground and averaged seven yards per rush.
Broughton has made his case to FBS programs, and he’s making his trips to various locations. Kansas State was his stop this past weekend, and the 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back said he enjoyed the trip to Manhattan, Kan.
Broughton was in attendance for Kansas State’s 44-30 win against Oklahoma State and said the Manhattan environment reminded him of “a bigger Kearney.”
