Defending Missouri Class 5 state champion Kansas City Staley is 5-2 through seven games and has won three consecutive games. Keeping the streak alive -- among other things -- is one of the goals for three-star quarterback Trent Hosick.
Among the objectives for Hosick, a Missouri commit who has made a name for himself as a dual-threat option, are to improve as a passing quarterback as well as an overall leader. Entering Friday’s game against Kansas City (Mo.) Oak Park, Hosick has thrown for 1,199 yards, 13 touchdowns, and he’s rushed for 939 yards and 13 more touchdowns.
