Christian Daimler chooses Arizona State

Arizona State picked up its 13th offer early Thursday evening, as three-star offensive tackle Christian Daimler (Houston/Stratford) gave his verbal commitment.
Daimler, a 6-foot-6, 270-pound tackle, announced his commitment via social media. He tweeted, “Officially committed to play football at Arizona State University! #ForksUp”
Daimler is the first offensive lineman to join the Sun Devils’ 2013 recruiting class. He had additional offers from Colorado State, Texas State and Louisiana-Lafayette. Recruited by offensive line coach Bob Connelly, Daimler is the fifth Texan to pledge to Arizona State and head coach Todd Graham, who was in Texas along with running backs coach Larry Porter on Thursday.
Daimler is ranked No. 99 among offensive tackles nationally. He is ranked No. 149 in Texas.
