Washington State pledge DeMarcus Ayers (Lancaster, Texas/Lancaster) hasn’t wavered on his commitment, but the offers continue to pile up for the three-star athlete.
Ayers picked up an offer from Houston on Tuesday, upping his total to 19 overall. He committed to Washington State in June but said Houston brings some intrigue into the recruiting picture.
“At first, they were recruiting me the hardest at corner,” Ayers said, “but then the receivers coach got in the mix. It’s up to me where I want to play if I were to go there.”
