Three-star safety Trevor Walker (Arlington, Texas/Mansfield Timberview) will kick off his official visits this weekend at the famous blue turf.
Walker and his father Chris confirmed that the 6-foot, 190-pound defensive back will visit Boise State on Saturday. It is the only official visit that has been scheduled thus far, but visits to Iowa and Purdue also are a possibility.
“After Boise, we really don’t know,” Chris Walker said. “We took quite a few unofficial visits in the summer, and the plan was we didn’t really have to go back to the unofficials. We’re still working some things out.”
Walker, who committed to Washington State in April, but decommitted in July to explore other options, has visited several programs during the summer. Now wide open with his recruitment, he has offers from Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas State, Ole Miss and others. Oklahoma is beginning to show interest, and TCU and Texas A&M both have him on their radars. Washington State also is still in the mix for Walker.
