Two-way lineman Poet Thomas (Beverly Hills, Mich./Country Day) is closing in on double-digit offers, and depending on who that next offer is, it could spell the end of Thomas’ recruitment.
Michigan State and Texas Tech are two programs high on the 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle/defensive tackle. He’s hoping to land an offer from both schools in the next few weeks. Thomas is planning to attend Michigan State’s opener against Boise State on Friday night.
“I’m going to send them my film, hopefully they get it and like what they see and I get an offer,” he said. “I really want to get that offer.”
