Brandon Hines (Dallas/Kimball) has nine offers, but he might be one of the last to talk about them. The 6-foot-1, 187-pound outside linebacker/safety hybrid is too worried about getting better as a player.
Hines’ workouts include sessions with athletes who know what it takes to make the highest level of football. Hines’ cousin is Arizona Cardinals cornerback Michael Adams, and if he’s not working out with Adams, he’s working out with safety Cam Nelson, who was a standout at the University of Arizona.
“Mike always tells me that perseverance is everything,” Hines said. “How you carry yourself when no one is looking is a big bonus. What he tells me is very sophisticated.
