Defensive back John Schilleci (Denton, Texas/Guyer) is versatile enough to play cornerback and safety. On Monday, Schilleci announced he will be a college safety.
Schilleci verbally committed to North Texas and became the Mean Green’s fourth commitment of the 2013 class. He was recruited by safeties coach Noah Joseph and offensive line coach Mike Simmonds.
“It feels amazing. My school is getting paid for, so I know my parents are happy,” Schilleci said. “Now, I can go out and just play the game and not worry.”
