Tulsa added a multidimensional wide receiver to its 2013 recruiting class late Wednesday night, as west Texas standout Keevan Lucas (Abilene, Texas/Abilene) verbally committed to the Golden Hurricane.
Lucas, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound receiver, became Tulsa’s eighth commitment and the first from the Lone Star State. He chose Tulsa over an offer from Louisiana Tech and interest from Texas Tech, New Mexico State and Colorado.
Lucas visited the Tulsa campus on June 2 for a one-day camp. He said he was sold from then on.
