Defensive back Kamari Syrie (Hurst, Texas/L.D. Bell) has given Iowa State commit No. 2 for its 2013 recruiting class.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound safety announced on his decision on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.
“Looks like im going to ames, iowa after i graduate,” Syrie wrote on his Twitter handle, @kamari_2.
Syrie recorded 74 tackles (five for loss) and broke up two passes for L.D. Bell as a junior. He joins a Cyclones class that picked up its first commitment last week from dual-threat quarterback Trevor Hodge (Perris, Calif./Citrus Hill).
