When the 2012 football season kicks off, Lamar Jordan (Frisco, Texas/Centennial) will be Centennial’s starting quarterback. When the season’s over, he hopes to be the best athlete available for a particular college program.
Jordan said he doesn’t have a preference of quarterback or receiver in college. All that matters to the 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete is that he gets the opportunity to showcase his skills.
One of those assets is speed. Jordan recently ran the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds at a TCU camp. Since the end of spring he has increased his time by two-tenths of a second.
