Four-star inside linebacker Brett Wade (Kennedale, Texas) upped his scholarship list to 17 after picking up recent offers from Arizona State and West Virginia.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker, ranked No. 9 among players in his position nationally, is coming off a 2011 season where he recorded 130 tackles and five sacks. Of those 130 tackles, 98 were unassisted.
Along with Arizona State and West Virginia, Wade has offers from Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas State, North Carolina and a host of other FBS programs. He also has received interest from Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Wade on Friday said he plans on making a decision in August.
