Defensive end Dimarya Mixon (Mesquite, Texas/West Mesquite) picked up his first offer from Arizona State near the end of February. Roughly six weeks later, Mixon is now up to seven offers.
Mixon picked up his latest offer Thursday night from Syracuse. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound end now has offers from Arizona State, Syracuse, Ole Miss, Washington State, Kansas, Purdue and North Texas.
“I feel like everything’s going pretty good for me at the moment,” Mixon said. “It’s not going too fast; it’s going at a perfect pace. I just don’t want to get too excited and lose concentration on what I’m working for.”
